‘That child - she can't stand it long in there' - Who was referred to here? Why was she in danger? How she was saved?

Ans: Agatha, the daughter of Annabel's married sister, was the child referred to here.

Agatha was frightened as she was locked inside the new vault of Elmore bank. When the elders were busy, May in sprit of play shut Agatha in the vault. Agatha was in danger because there was not enough oxygen in the vault. So, the little child was in danger.

In that dangerous situation, Annabel requested Ralph to do something to save Agatha. Ralph became Jimmy and took up his burglar instruments. Jimmy opened the vault within ten minutes and rescued the frightened child. Agatha almost collapsed but safe and fell into her mother's arms. Thus, Jimmy saved Agatha.
