How did the Tsar nurse the wounded man?
Ans: In the short story "Three Question" a bearded man came running out of the wood and the man held his hands pressed against his stomach. When he reached the Tsar, he fell fainting on the ground. The Tsar and the hermit unfastened the wounded man's clothing. There was a large wound in his stomach. The Tsar washed it as best he could and bandaged it with his handkerchief and a towel of the hermit. But the blood would not stop flowing, so the Tsar again and again removed the bandage soaked with warm blood, then he washed and rebandaged the wound. When at last the blood stopped flowing, the man revived and asked for something to drink. The Tsar brought fresh water and gave it to him. The Tsar with the hermit's help carried him into the hut and laid him on the bed. Thus, Tsar nursed the wounded man and saved his life.
