1st Quatrain :

That time of year thou mayst in me behold,

When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang

Upon those boughs which shake against the cold,

Bare ruin'd choirs, where late the sweet birds sang.

Bengali Meaning (বাংলা অর্থ) :

তুমি আমার মধ্যে বছরের সেই সময়টা দেখতে পাবে,

যখন হলুদ পাতা, বা একটাও নয়, বা সামান্য কিছু ঝুলে থাকে

সেই ডালগুলিতে যেগুলি ঠান্ডায় কাঁপে,

শূন্য ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত গির্জার প্রার্থনামঞ্চ, যেখানে সম্প্রতি মিষ্টি পাখিরা গান গাইতো।

2nd Quatrain :

In me thou see'st the twilight of such day,

As after sunset fadeth in the west,

Which by and by black night doth take away,

Death's second self, that seals up all in rest.

Bengali Meaning (বাংলা অর্থ) :

তুমি আমার মধ্যে সেই দিনের গোধূলির আলো দেখতে পাবে,

যা সূর্যাস্তের পর পশ্চিম আকাশে মিলিয়ে যায়,

যা একটু পরেই কাল রাত এসে গ্রাস করে,

মৃত্যুর দ্বিতীয় রূপ, যা সকলকে বিশ্রামে আবদ্ধ করে।

3rd Quatrain :

In me thou see'st the glowing of such fire,

That on the ashes of his youth doth lie,

As the death-bed, whereon it must expire,

Consumed with that which it was nourished by.

Bengali Meaning (বাংলা অর্থ) :

তুমি আমার মধ্যে সেই আগুনের আভা দেখতে পাবে,

যা তার যৌবনের ছাইয়ের উপর শুয়ে থাকে,

যেন মৃত্যুশয্যা, যেখানে তা অবশ্যই শেষ হয়ে যায়,

তারই দ্বারা শেষ হল যা তাকে এক সময় লালিত করেছিল।

Couplet :

This thou perceiv'st, which makes thy love more strong,

To love that well, which thou must leave ere long.

Bengali Meaning (বাংলা অর্থ) :

এটা তুমি উপলব্ধি করবে, যা তোমার ভালোবাসাকে আরো শক্তিশালী করবে,

তাকে আরও গভীরভাবে ভালবাসতে, যাকে তোমাকে শীঘ্রই ছেড়ে যেতে হবে।
